Nasarawa United 16 years old player who happens to be the youngest player in the league, came in as a substitute in the match against Heartland. The lad was full of excitement for playing infront of his father, fans at Nasarawa United home in Jos, was a dream come true for him. He spoke with the press immediately after Nasarawa United’s victory against Heartland in matchday 21.
"I am happy to be the youngest player in the league. First I want to thank the Coach for believing in me despite my size, i am really happy and i will forever be grateful for this opportunity.
On playing in Jos.
“I am really excited as i played in front of my father for the very first time ever as he has never seen me play before”.
On him facing big opponents.
“I am really used to it, since i was little. I have been playing amongst bigger opponents but i have full confidence in my ability.
“My dreams is to play top flight football for top European club someday as my mentor is Ousamane Dembele of FC Barcelona".
