In ishaq kayode, one could see a player with the modern day attributes of a refined winger thanks to his brilliant performance in today's ill-tempered friendly against the elephants.
The winger showcased immense character down the right flank with a couple of mesmerised and well calculated runs, embellished with speed, and accuracy towards goal, which goalkeeper Ojo oloruneke for the elephants could attest to.
I saw a player who was hungry for offensive adventure, I saw a player who was resilient and determined in helping his team cover spaces, he is a team player, he commits his marker, he is tricky and fast on the ball, he is a delight to watch.
And off the ball, one could see a player that helps his team to fall back to shape with his marking ability and composure. He deservedly got a call up to the national set-up lately, that wasn't a fluke, obviously it was on merit with what I saw today at the aba township stadium, no controversy.
He covered lots of grounds today, his runs were top-notch,of a truth the world is certainly at his feet.
