The centre Defender of Mjallby football club of Sweden awarded ‘Man of the Match’ in the AFCON U23 qualifiers match in far away Dar as Salaam.
It was a match where the Olympic Eagles could have won in the first half of the game, but no thanks to profligacy infront of goal. Isaiah Ejeh did a yeoman’s job in the second half, truncating attacking forays of the host. Good interception, and also the ability to command the defence with calmness and great sense of organization, ensured the U23 secure a vital away point.
The former Kwara United captain with no doubt can graduate into the main Super Eagles team.
