I don't Care About What I Read Online - Onazi

March, 9 2022.

Nigerian International player, Ogenyi Onazi has reacted to his recent call up to the Super Eagles in preparation for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Ghana.

In his words, he said:

"It's not a surprise to me, because I'm still playing and I'm ready to play anytime and when it comes to the national team, I'm always at the service of the nation, to always give my best for the country.

"Yes, it's been a while I was in the national team, but when we talk about this very game- home and away, that will take us to the World Cup (it's very important).

“When I got a call from the coach, he told how important it is, and I also know how important it is. We need the experience to tackle this game. It's not a game of saying where do you play or where do you come from or whatever you're doing.

“This is a national issue. We are not playing a single sport, we need to bring heads together to make the right things at the right time.

“Personally, I don't care about what they write online. I'm still on the reserve list, not yet on the main list, so we can't tell what's going to happen. Let's keep it that way and then we'll see what's going to happen," the Al-Adalah central midfielder concluded.
