Former Super Falcons coach, Ismaila Mabo has distanced himself from the rumours making the rounds that he is having issues with the current board of the Nigeria Football Federation.
The former coach of the most successful female national team in Africa says, he is only seeking reward of recognition for meritorious service.
"This is not a fight against anybody but I wish they could recognise the efforts of Jossy lad, late Paul Hamilton, Uche Ucheria and the rest".
He told www.ckdmedia.ng that, he is happy that former players were being rewarded for their contributions however coaches should not be exempted.
"Some of us have done well for the game and we need encouragement in order to continue inspiring young ones".
He denied initiating a fight agains the NFF concerning the inability of the FA to extend an invitation to him during the recently held Super Falcons legends awards.
