_Flag Off the Construction of Community Sports Centre Ikoyi-Ile, Ogbomoso_
Hon. Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare emphasized the need for host communities to ensure effective security of Government's Projects.
Honourable Sunday Dare said this at the foundation laying ceremony for the construction of community sports centre Ikoyi-Ile, Oriire Local Government, Ogbomoso on Friday 2nd of December, 2022.
The Minister further stated that developmental projects will always boost economic activities of the host communities, hence the need for maximum security.
The Community Sports Centre will be a modern state of the art Sporting facility with Tartan tracks, Male/Female Hostels, Ticketing Boot/Gate House, Grand/Popular Stand, Public/Designated Toilets and Parking lots.
Mr Sunday Dare mentioned that the Sports centre is a Federal Government project, approved by President Muhammadu Buhari and will be completed before the end of the President’s administration.
The Community Sports Centre has been added to the lists of projects facilitated by the Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland over the years; such as Ogbomoso Youth Sports Arena, the ongoing Refurbishment of Basketball Court LAUTECH, the roofing of SOUN Stadium, 1.3 billion Ecological project.
