Nigeria Football Federation executive board member representing North east, chairman Borno football association as well as FIFA and CAF match commissioner, Alhaji Babagana Kalli Kachala has urged Super Eagles to go for Glory in the last group stage match, slated for today.
The excellent ex player made this known while speaking to CKDmedia on the news, for them to go all out to beat Guinea Bissau to create an important record for themselves as well as the nation. While been optimistic that the team have all it takes to win the tournament.
"I am calling on Super Eagles players to go all out for Guinea Bissau on today's last group match. As well as calling on all Nigerians to pray and support the team to Glory.
“We here in Garoua are all out to support you and make sure you have a hitch free match. I want you players to play this match according to the rules, because winning this match will create a big record for you and for the Nation at large.
“I am optimistic that you Super Eagles are going for Glory as it has been rated globally that the team has all it takes to win this tournament.
“I have watched Super Eagles play for over twenty years now. In the last 10-15 years, I have never seen Super Eagles display skills, energy and are determined with zeal. That’s the reason I said, I'm optimistic that they are winning this tournament by God's grace”, he concluded.
