Another Nigerian striker has made a big move in the ever dynamic European summer transfer season, by penning a three (3) year contract with a club in eaystern Europe, FC Botosani of Romania.
The 20-year-old right sided midfielder who can as well slot into the right full-back position, last played for FC Noah Yerevan in the Armenian League, where he had an outstanding performance.
Speaking to www.ckdmedia.ng, the CEO of Ikon Allah Academy, Mohammed Ayi aka Ikon Allah said he was pleased to announce that Friday Adams, who graduated from his academy has signed a new contract, which is a reasonable upgrade compared to his last deal.
"He signed after we weighed some other options with my partners, and came to the conclusion that Friday should sign for FC Botosani. Our other consideration was to ensure that his path of growth and career development are intact, and that is only guaranteed if he plays regularly.
"In fact, there were one or two better offers, (monetarily speaking) but we opted to go for the growth of the player, knowing he has got huge potential.
"We have a few more of of Ikon Allah Academy products on queue to sign some other contracts, in coming weeks. We will keep the details to ourselves, and inform you once the deals are done", the Ikon Allah Academy CEO concluded.
The Ikon Allah Football Academy is located in Kaduna, capital of Kaduna State.
