The September 30 Federations elections will still go on as planned except for Badminton Federation, The Content news can reveal.
Contrary to the news making rounds, the injunction late Wednesday evening from the High Court is only for Badminton and does not affect other Federations.
A source close to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development confirmed that elections into the Federations will proceed as planned.
“We know there is so much mischief, lies and petitions flying around. The rules of the game is clear. It is time for elections and we will let
the Federations conduct their elections".
