The CEO of F&A Sporting Management, Prince Fred Akhigbe has congratulated the president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick on his time and achievement in the helm of affairs of the countries football.
Pinnick was elected in the same election that brought in Patrice Motsepe as the new CAF president. The South African billionaire became the 8th president of Africa’s football governing body, replacing Madagascar’s Ahmad Ahmad.
The Edo born Prince, Fred Akhigbe praised the NFF boss for moving Nigeria football to another level and bringing sponsors to Nigerian football.
While speaking to F&A media department from his base in Italy, Prince Fred said,
"I give kudos to the NFF president for what he has done to football in Nigeria, this is the first time in the history of Nigeria where we have a sole administrator that would be the president of Nigeria football and at same time marketing the football teams.
"Pinnick has done so well during his tenure. Sponsors are trooping out to align with the federation and also being a member of the FIFA council is a big plus for him".
"Pinnick who is currently serving second term in office as president of the Nigeria Football Federation after he was re-elected in 2018 in Katsina where the election took place has really done well for the growth of Nigeria football.
The Nigeria national team have recorded few successes under the watchful eyes of Amaju Melvin Pinnick as NFF President, qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia with ease and finishing third at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt and now at the verge of qualifying for the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
