Ese Brume Moves from Olympics Bronze to Claim Silver on Final Day of World Athletics Championships

Ese Brume yet again brought joy to Nigeria, as she leapt an amazing day 7.02m to pick up a silver medal on the final day of the World Athletics Championships in Oregon.

Brume, who won bronze at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games improved her initial jumps and came second, behind Germany's Mihambo (7.09m).

Brume had to make her Season's best numbers (7.02m) to claim the silver, as she now turns attention to the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
