Fenerbahçe is working to secure a contract extension for Nigerian right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel, who has entered the final year of his current deal with the Turkish giants.

Despite ongoing negotiations with the club, no agreement has been reached yet. Fenerbahçe is keen to keep the player, but two European clubs, Norwich City and RC Lens, have expressed interest in signing Osayi-Samuel.

Reports obtained by www.ckdmedia.ng indicate that the clubs plan to approach Osayi-Samuel in January, aiming to secure his services for free at the end of the season. The Nigerian international currently earns 1.8 million euros annually and is seeking an increase to 2.5 million euros, along with a 4-year contract. However, Fenerbahçe has reportedly set a limit of 2 million euros for the renewal offer.

Osayi-Samuel, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury, has made six appearances this season, contributing one assist.

His future at Fenerbahçe remains uncertain as the January transfer window approaches.
