Emmanuel Michael: Simoiben Academy's Converted Left Back Impresses to Clinch Man of the Match Again

Simoiben Academy's Emmanuel Michael has continued to leave heads spinning about his talent after he won the Man of the Match again.


The Golden Eaglets defeated the Baby Hawks of Togo 3-1 to book a place in the semi final of the WAFU B U-17 tourney


Michael, has distinguished himself in his position, playing as a modern left back, even though he is originally a midfielder and the Simoiben Academy youngster has taken to his new position like a fish to water.


Skipper Precious Williams scored the goal of the match, making it two goals in two matches for the captain of the team, before he was stretched off injured.


Light Eke came off the bench to score the third goal for the Eaglets. Michael's outstanding performance drew accolades to him, as the promising player continue to be the subject of discussion across different quarters.
