The Kaduna born player have signed the dotted lines with Lobi Stars FC, after the expiration of his contract with Al Nassirya of Iraq.
It could be recalled that Ekpe Thompson started his professional football outside the shores of this country with FC Molde, in Norwegian League, under the tutelage of Ole Gunner Solksjaer, the present coach of Manchester United.
He left for Kristiansund FC in Norway to Arendal FC in Norway, for proverbial Golden Fleece.
But presently, he is back home to play for Lobi Stars FC.
His wealth of experience will be needed in the quest of Lobi Stars to pick a continental ticket in the coming season.
