Cynosure FC acquires FC Ifeanyi Ubah NNL slot

The reign of FC Ifeanyi Ubah as a professional team has finally come to an end.

Fc Ifeanyi Ubah who relegated to the second tier league called NNl at the end of last season, will not play any part in the NNL league that will commence in days to come.

It will be recalled that Fc Ifeanyi Ubah was one time household name in the NPFL, having played in the CAF confederation cup and bought expensive players like Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Ismala Gata, Adeleye Olamilekan. Also the exports of Brazilian coach and players to the NPFL. All these were just to keep the team going and make the team one of the best in the country, but today FC Ifeanyi Ubah has finally said good bye to professional football.

I salute the doggedness of the proprietor to singlehandedly run this club for many years.

I think the management of the team would have done better with marketing of the team to have sponsors. To me, the management of Fc Ifeanyi Ubah team failed in their responsibilities.
