Coach Salisu Yusuf Releases 18-Man List: Ejeh, Success, Promise Make The Cut

Head coach of the U-23 National team, Salisu Yusuf has released the final list of 18 players that will trade tackle with the U23 team of Tanzania come this weekend.

The team’s last friendly match ended 1-1 against 3SC Football club of Ibadan on Wednesday, allowing the coaches ample opportunity to see the players in a competitive game.

Some of the players gave a good account of themselves, while some others fell below average.

A few notable names that made the list includes; Former Kwara United captain Isaiah Ejeh who is now with Mjallby of Sweden, Promise David of Sirens Fc of Malta, Michael Ologo Inainfe of Istanbulspor, Ogunniyi Oluwatimileyin Abiodun of Fk Auda in latvia, Adeyemo Oluwapelumi Emmanuel of Fc Vizela in Portugal and Success Makanjuola of CD Diocesano in Spain, Hezekiah Okirikpo Dundalk Fc of Ireland.

Home based players are not left out of the party, with the likes of; Naziru Auwalu Ibrahim of Rangers Int’l of Enugu, Munir Idris of Niger Tornadoes, Edidiong Enobong Ezekiel of Remo Stars, Daniel Wotlai from Abia Warriors, Christopher Nwaeze from Plateau United, Evans Ogbonda from Akwa United, Qudus Olamilekan Akanni of Remo Stars, while Nathaniel Nwosu and Dominion Ohaka both from Water Fc Abuja were also listed.

Amah John of Box-to-Box Fc and Bamayi Calocho of Yum-Yum Fc completes the list.
