The head coach of U20 team, Ladan Bosso will submit the list of 23 players to CAF ahead of AFCON in Egypt.
The Flying Eagles won the WAFU Tournament in Niger Republic after beating Benin Republic in the finals of the WAFU Tournament.
Some of the foreign players that will join the team are players that were part of the team in WAFU Tournament, but now foreign players. Players like; Ibrahim Bebeji Winger Cartgena of Spain, Ahmed Abduallahi striker Gent Belgium, Samson Lawal Germany.
The Flying Eagles are preparing to depart their training camp either in Spain or Morocco at the end of this month for the U20 AFCON taking off in February 19, 2022 in Cairo Egypt.
The 2023 AFCON which will serve as qualifiers for the U20 FIFA World Cup in Indonesia by May, had the Nigerian U20 team draw in Group A alongside host nation Egypt, Senegal and Mozambique.
