The present highest goal scorer of Abia Warriors in the ongoing league with 10 goals in 14 matches played so far, has attributed his recent goal feat and performances to coach Imama Amapakabo, who gave him the opportunity to play in NPFL.
According to the Abuja based striker, “I longed for the NPFL for a while but many didn’t believe in my ability, but Coach Imama Amapakabo gave me a lifetime opportunity this season to play in the NPFL and my debut season is really worthy of note.
“I am confident that i will score more goals for my team, we’ll escape the drop and finish in top ten at the end of the season”.
Recall that coach Imama Amapakabo gave the likes of Chisom Egbuchulam, Godwin Aguda and Obina Nwobodo 2016 debut season, when Rangers International won the league. All these players are now playing outside the shores of the country. Imama continue in that manner in Elkanemi warriors where rookies like John Lazarus, Ndidi Anumudu and chan Super Eagles player Nura Muhammed had the opportunity to play in the league for the first time when coach Imama took over Elkanemi warriors.
