The founder of CKD Academy, Mr. Kola Daniel FCA, has informed football loving world that the Football Academy was formed as a result of his passion for the round leather game, and his way of giving back to the society.
The CEO of CKD Media stated this in a telephone interview with media houses, after a brief training session by the players of the Academy, in Abuja today.
CKD, as he is popularly called stated that;
"CKD Academy was formed out my burning desire that I have for football. I actually formed this Football Academy, so as to give back to the society, where I have actually been made. I am a product of football fraternity, having benefited from football".
The award winning Sports Journalist also revealed that, "I felt it's time for me to take the young ones out of the street, give them a sense of belonging and make them have the platform to excel in their chosen football career".
"CKD Academy is now in Abuja, we have kick-started, we have gotten the technical crew, the management team, and the players at large. We are looking at players who can be competitive and take the platform for a proverbial golden fleece ", the Executive Media Aide to the immediate past Minister of Sports and Youth Development concluded.
