Chijioke Akuneto And Two Others End Season As Only Three Players To Hit Hatrick In A Game

Highest goal scorer, Chijioke Akuneto, Victor Mbaoma and Andy Okpe finished as the only three players to score a hattrick in an NPFL game in the just concluded 2021/22 season.

Remo Stars' Andy Okpe joined the a select list of NPFL players to score a hattrick in the NPFL this season after a final day treble of goals saw him net his 12th goal against Niger Tornadoes.

Akuneto of Rivers United was top scorer with 19 goals while Enyimba's Victor Mbaoma finished with 16 goals.

He’s now the third player to score hat trick in the NPFL after Chijioke Akuneto and Victor Mbaoma.
