BRONZE MEDALIST OLAITAN VOW TO GET BACK TO THE PODIUM WITH GOLD MEDAL IN PARIS 2024

The Bronze medalist in 67kg who registered her displeasure with her performance not minding the podium finish, believes she should have even picked the Gold medal or atleast Silver medal. www.ckdmedia.ng caught up with her immediately after the event, where tears was brimming out of her chick.


“I didnt plan for bronze. The least I expected was silver medal. I don’t know what happened in my final lift, I wish it was something I could have had more chance to fight for but there was no room for me to fight”.


“My ambition was to win Gold and have the world stand up for my country and I will surely make it happen someday “.


“The Paralympics is the most beautiful competition. It is the dream of every athlete to attend the Paralympic games. It is fantastic. I have never been in a competition with so many countries, so many athletes from different nations. I have met different people, made new friends and with this experience I will train even harder to be the best in the world”.


“I am determined to break the world record in my category. I will work towards it ahead of the next Paralympic games and God the will give me the strength and wisdom to achieve it”.
