Sunshine Stars dependable defender, Sholumade Boluwaji has expressed his excitement after forcing the League Champions, Akwa United to a barren draw in their backyard in an NPFL Matchday 8 fixture.
The young defender who made his debut in the NPFL few weeks ago has formed an integral part in the heart of Sunshine Stars defense line.
Speaking with www.ckdmedia.ng immediately after their match against Akwa United at the Nest of Champions in Uyo Boluwaji said,
"I am very delighted to pick another vital away point today with my team today. This point is very special to me because it came against the league Champions right in their backyard.
"This wouldn't have been possible without the collective effort of the management board, the coaches, players and the backroom staff, everyone did their assignment perfectly and we got rewarded with another vital away point.
"I will continue to work hard in order to keep getting positive results. He declared
On his target for the season the former Ottasolo FC energetic and rugged centre back said,
"My main target is to keep winning and at the same time win silverware with Sunshine Stars. I am very sure it is possible.
Sunshine Stars have managed back-back-back draw in their last two away games, against 3SC in Ibadan and Akwa United in Uyo.
The Akure Landlord will return to base to keep a date with Lobi Stars FC in an NPFL Matchday 9 fixture.
