The opening ceremony of the National Sports Festival in Delta State is one of the best In history of the biggest competition in the country. Four Governors in attendance of the 21st National Sports Festival is the host State Governor, Dr Okowa, Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal.
The Honourable Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare is not left out of the party as sports prevail over politics.
Spectators were thrilled with suspense artistry dance by step dancers and cultural troops, It was moments of magical and enchanting music. The contingent from different states participated in a match pass that had sense of uniformity. The doggedness of the local organising committee and members of the MOC were evident In the opening ceremony.
