All Set for Super Eagles To Qualify For Qatar 2022-Logistic Committee

The Logistic Committee set up by the Federal Government of Nigeria has said, that all is set for the Super Eagles of Nigeria to qualify for Qatar 2022.


This was made known by a member of the Committee, in person of Mr. Kọla Daniel, at Abuja, on Thursday.


The Media Aide to the Minister of Youth and Sports Development said this, while speaking with journalist on the alertness of the committee.


In his words, the CEO of CKD Media said "everything is in place for the Eagles to secure the Qatar 2022 ticket, all hands are on deck, we have paid attention to details. The Ministry is very meticulous about the matches, considering the fact that a victory in Kumasi could make the second leg a dead rubber game.


We have tried as much as we can, knowing full well the rivalry between the two countries, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have been put in the right frame of mind interim of motivation.


The Moshood Abiola stadium Abuja is set for the match to come Tuesday, there is no doubt the federal government attached interest to the match hopefully Nigeria will qualify for Qatar 2022.”


Speaking on the activities of the Logistic Committee, Mr. Kola Daniel revealed that, the logistics have been meeting every day and trying as much as it can to intimate the general public about the importance of this match


He also gave clue on where to buy the ticket; he said, “Fans can buy their ticket at Eagles Square, Moshood Abiola Stadium, DAAR Communication and online.


On security of lives and properties, the ace journalist replied: “we have put in place the security of lives and properties into consideration, the security committee met yesterday and have put measures in place, to ensure the safety of fans. I can assure fans that it’s going to be a hitch-free match.”


He also disclosed that VAR is ready, work is ongoing regarding VAR, and its part of the guidelines put in place by FIFA to be made available. Nigerians don’t need to worry about VAR come Tuesday, VAR will be working.” he assured.


As part of the efforts, to ensure that fans come to the stadium to cheer the Super Eagles when they will slug it out with their arch-rival, the Black stars of Ghana, over 100 big buses will be available to convey people from all nooks and crannies of FCT and its environs.


There are going to be free 100 buses across the breadth and length of FCT Gwarinpa, Suleja, Kubwa, Nyanya, Maraba, Gwagwalada, and the same buses will convey them to and fro for the match.


However, the second leg of the Qualifying Match will hold at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Tuesday, 29th March 2022.
