...And G/Bissau Selects Morocco

The days running up to the 2023 AFCON Qualifiers are shorter, Nigeria continue to fine-tune preparations but the group opponents of the Super Eagles are scouting for a makeshift home.

AFCON 2021 debutants Guinea Bissau have opted to play their home games in the Moroccan city of Marrakech, just as Sao Tome and Principe will also settle in the North African country.

Sierra Leone FA officials have visited Conakry, with Benin Republic and Senegal amongst their contemplated countries.

The Super Eagles will kick start their qualifying series with a home game at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja before going away to Sao Tome, all in the month of June.

This is on the back of CAF imposing a ban on the traditional home venues of the teams.
