The 2021-2022 season is finally coming to an end while some leagues are in their final weeks with Nigerian players on the roll call of winners this season.


From league winners, to cup glory, find a list of Nigerian players to have laid their hands on a major silverware this outgoing season.


In a glorious season, Asisat Oshoala won the Spanish Primera Division and Supercopa de España with Barcelona Femeni.

In France, Moses Simon won the Coupe de France with Nantes while in Scotland, Nigerian trio of Leon Balogun, Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey won the Scottish Cup with Glasgow Rangers. Although they lost the league title and Europa league to Celtic and Frankfurt respectively.


League winners include Anthony Nwakaeme who won the Turkish Super Lig with Trabzonspor Henry Onyekuru laid his hands on the Greek league with Olyimpiakos and speedy defender Zaidu Sanusi won the Portuguese League and Taca de Portugal with FC Porto.


In the Scandanavians, Akinkunmi Amoo won the Danish Superliga with Copenhagen while Bamidele Yusuf won the Slovakian Cup with Spartak Trnava. In same Slovakia, the league title was won by two Nigerians Rabiu Ibrahim and Uche Agbo at Slovakia.


Just as her international teammate, Christy Ucheibe won the Portuguese Campeonato Nacional Feminino with Benfica and ex Golden Eaglets skippoe, Samson Tijani won the Austrian Bundesliga with Red Bull Salzburg.
